Este miércoles el príncipe Harry regresaba a su país natal, tras su estancia en Canadá junto a su esposa Meghan Markle y su hijo Archie, para participar en la cumbre de turismo sostenible Travalyst en Edimburgo, Escocia.

Antes de que el menor de los hijos del príncipe Carlos subiera al escenario para dar su discurso, el presentador del evento, Ayesha Hazarika, hacía un inciso: “Nos ha dejado a todos claro que solo lo llamemos Harry, así que damas y caballeros denle una calurosa bienvenida escocesa a Harry”.

In Scotland today, The Duke of Sussex and Travalyst have hosted a summit to launch their next phase of work, putting communities first, with a mission to create a more sustainable tourism industry. • “We are a coalition of partners with a shared goal to transform the future of tourism and travel for everyone – to give people access to better information and ensure the future development of tourism positively supports the destinations that the industry relies on, and that their communities depend on. We believe travel is a good thing. It is the heart of human experience, of cultural connections and of new friendships.” – The Duke of Sussex Travalyst is working to build a future where people are able to take holidays and trips that have social, environmental and economic benefits to communities and destinations built in. There is an increasing desire for these types of trips – and we want to make them a reality for everyone. At today’s summit in Edinburgh, representatives from across the Scottish tourism sector discussed the need to encourage and incentivise sustainable practices across the supply chain, in a way that meets the needs of consumers who want more clarity on how to choose more sustainable options. “Sólo Harry”

Recordemos que hace unos días se confirmaba que el próximo 31 de marzo será la fecha definitiva en la que los duques de Sussex finalmente dejen de ser miembros royal de la familia real británica. A partir de entonces dará comienzo su anhelada autonomía personal lejos de la agenda oficial.

En ese momento, el príncipe Harry y su esposa, Meghan Markle, dirán adiós a su distinción ‘Sussex Royal’ para poder embarcarse en nuevos proyectos profesionales, lejos de la Casa Real.

Por ello el príncipe Harry ya habría pedido a la gente que trabaja con él que se refieran a él simplemente como ‘Harry’, sin nombrar su título real.
